- Jaroslav Hasek
You can visit the monument to Jaroslav Hašek - writer and author of the world famous book "The Fortunes of the Good Soldier Svejk", and the "U ceske koruny" (The Czech Crown) inn, where Jaroslav Hasek stayed and wrote his book. Jaroslav Hasek is buried at the old cemetery in Lipnice.
- The Ruins of Castle Orlik above Humpolec
The picturesque ruins of Orlik castle can be reached easily - it is about 11 kilometres walking distance from Lipnice (follow the blue hiking route). The ruins are open to the public and offers displays and demonstrations of ancient crafts (on weekends). The visitors can see the replica of a medieval pottery kiln, or a reconstructed castle kitchen. It is believed that Orlik is connected with Lipnice by a secret underground passage.
- Castle Ledec nad Sazavou
The museum of the town is situated directly at the castle, hosting interesting exhibitions. One tower of the old castle is also open to the public, and offers beautiful views of the town and the surrounding landscape.
- Gothic churches
Interesting gothic churches can be visited in villages close to the castle - in Loukov, Dolni Mesto, Recice, and Krasna hora.
